The holiday season is upon us once again. Before you know it, out-of-town loved ones will be knocking on your door for holiday gatherings, merrymaking and plenty of Christmas ale-fueled late nights. Radios will ceremoniously blare those classic holiday tunes while folks enjoy time-honored family traditions like watching "A Christmas Story" or endlessly quoting Uncle Eddie from "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
But another way to get into the holiday spirit in Cleveland is to experience the hustle and bustle of the season during Holiday CircleFest in University Circle.
From 1:00-5:30 p.m., more than a dozen of University Circle’s renowned museums, gardens, galleries, churches, and schools open their doors and offer an afternoon of activities, music, food, fun, and shopping. Visitors can look forward to live performances from talented musicians, craft making, historic displays of holiday toys, storytelling, the city’s best gingerbread house competition, and much more. Best of all, most activities are FREE*!
Outside, Wade Oval becomes Cleveland’s Central Park with ice carving demonstrations, horse drawn carriage rides, live music, photos with Santa, The Rink at Wade Oval (from 1:00-7:00 p.m.), a Fire and Light show, and more!
*Some activities have paid admission.
