On December 10th, the Suburban Symphony Orchestra will present a riveting concert led by our first guest conductor of the season, David Platt. The performance will open with a piece inspired by a beautiful Czech river by composer Bedřich Smetana. The program continues with guest soloist Alan Harrell, performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto. The show concludes with Mendelssohn’s Fifth Symphony, known as the Reformation.
