TAUK has been painting with sound for nearly a decade, constantly pushing boundaries and reinventing themselves. Founded by Dolan, Jalbert, and Carter, who played together as middle schoolers on Long Island, the band solidified its current lineup in 2012 with the addition of college friend Teel. Since then, the quartet has toured with Umphrey’s McGee, Widespread Panic, and Lettuce, secured festival slots at Bonnaroo and Electric Forest, and garnered millions of streams and critical acclaim for their studio and live albums. The Washington Post praised their music as “a hard-charging, often melodic fusion,” while Keyboard Magazine noted that their sound “creates its own genre,” and Relix described them as “an incredibly impressive ensemble of talent.”
