  • 3/22: Stephanie Liscio on Sam Jethroe, member of the 1945 champion Cleveland Buckeyes
    • Stephanie Liscio discusses Sam Jethroe, 1950 Rookie of the Year and 7-time All-Star, who played for the 1945 Cleveland Buckeyes’ Negro League World Series-winning team. She has written books on Negro League baseball and the integration of the Cleveland Indians.
  • 5/10: Ken Krsolovic and Bryan Fritz on the History of Cleveland's Historic League Park
    • The co-authors of League Park: Historic Home of Cleveland Baseball explore its history, from pre-integration MLB and Negro League games to NFL matchups, college football, and boxing.
  • 5/31: Jay Valentine & Alex Painter on Jay's Career Barnstorming With The Indianapolis Clowns
    • ​Former Indianapolis Clowns center fielder Jay Valentine discusses his career, the Clowns, and the Negro Leagues with author Alex Painter.
  • 6/21: Leslie Heaphy on Eugene Bremer and the Pitching Staff of the 1945 Cleveland Buckeyes
    • Join us for a presentation by this noted historian, author and professor on Eugene Bremer and the pitching staff of the 1945 Cleveland Buckeyes.
  • 7/19: Scott Longert on Addie Joss, a Tragic Fiigure in Cleveland Baseball History
    • ​Author Scott Longert discusses Naps pitcher Addie Joss, a tragic figure in Cleveland baseball history. Longert, who holds an MA in American history from Cleveland State, has written extensively on Cleveland baseball, including Addie Joss: King of the Pitchers (1998).
  • 9/6: Vince Guerrieri on 1945: League Park's Last Year of Glory
    • Award-winning journalist and author Vince Guerrieri presents 1945: League Park’s Last Year of Glory. A Youngstown native and Bowling Green graduate, he has written multiple books on Ohio sports history.
