Jen Maurer from Mo Mojo leads an All-Star Jazz Quartet for Special Valentine's Day Presentation Live @ Irishtown Bend Taproom! Featuring: Jen Maurer-Vocals, Piano, Guitar Kaden Bos-Sax/Flute Lovest Watson-Acoustic Bass Erik Diaz-Drums. Vocals @ Irishtown Bend Taproom 1849 W. 24th St. Cleveland, Ohio (216) 373-0700 Behind the Market Garden Brewery and the West Side Market - under the giant BEER sign!! The Irishtown Bend Taproom has all sorts of great beer (fresh from the brewery) and wine. For dinner before or after the concert we'd suggest the Market Garden Brewery in front on W. 25th. You can make reservations for dinner by calling: (216) 621-4000 or Reservations (dinner only) Welcome to the Decos! A brand new ensemble that brings new life to old jazz. Danceable, upbeat jazz that takes you right into the middle of the speakeasy party. The talents of long-time local legends Jen Maurer, Lovest Watson, and Erik Diaz are coupled with the crazy goodness of the new phenom in town, Kaiden Bos. This Valentine’s Day show will showcase love songs from the 1920s-1940s. Jen Maurer is the long time leader of Mo Mojo, a terrific Zydeco, Cajun, Blues. and Rock Group based in Akron, Ohio. Their formation goes back to the 1990's. Mo’ Mojo is a spontaneous, uplifting, and kid-friendly “Pardi Gras” band that seeks to create a sense of community through dance. This female-fronted group defies genre labeling by incorporating many sounds from Louisiana, including traditional and original Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans Blues, New Orleans R&B, and Mardi Gras music. Mo’ Mojo’s songs range in subject matter but ever present is the idea of connection, exemplified by titles such as “Together in Love We Drown,” and “We All Got the Same.” One of NEOH’s longest running bands (since the mid 90s), Mo’ Mojo has performed at festivals, concert series, clubs, and dances across the U.S. The band has served as U.S. State Department musical ambassadors, sharing their value of community and connectedness all over the world. Jen Maurer will bring that same energy to the stage with her new group The Decos (as in Art Deco) for this special jazz oriented Valentine's Day Show. Don't miss Jen Maurer & The Decos on Saturday, February 14th Valentine's Day at the Irishtown Bend Taproom!
