Celebrate the 25-year legacy of a Northeast Ohio original as nationally recognized and critically acclaimed GroundWorks DanceTheater presents a FREE concert, giving thanks to our supporters and community.
The very special performance will feature three new works, including GroundWorks Founding Artistic Director David Shimotakahara’s 53rd work for the company, a tribute to the music of jazz great Thelonious Monk, the latest from GroundWorks’ Artist in Residence, Antonio Brown, and Seattle-based guest choreographer Olivier Wever’s “The Sixth” set to original music by American composer Philip Daniel about stripping away the layers of distraction in our daily lives to rediscover our true selves and inner peace.
