The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is excited to bring back our signature series of lectures, the Explorer Series.
We are thrilled to welcome NASA astronaut Douglas H. Wheelock. During this presentation, Wheelock will share stories from his time aboard the International Space Station and highlight current NASA projects.
Wheelock is a retired United States Army colonel who was selected by NASA in 1998. During his NASA career, Wheelock accumulated more than 178 days in space. He flew on STS-120 in 2007, and in 2010, he served as flight engineer for Expedition 24 and commander for Expedition 25.
Doors open at 5:30pm. Light snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase at Origins Café. The lecture starts 6:30pm. An autograph opportunity is available after the lecture. Special-event parking rates apply.
