It’s a little-known fact that The Cleveland Orchestra’s Principal English Horn player is also a published poet. Robert Walters shares the Bop Stop stage with Oberlin College’s newest bassoon faculty, Drew Pattison—a graduate of the prestigious Colburn School in Los Angeles—and composer/pianist Teddy Niedermaier—on faculty at Chicago’s Roosevelt University—in a unique program of music and original poetry. The musical journey includes a new trio composed by Teddy in 2016, two rarely-heard romances by Elgar and Sibelius, and Debussy’s thrilling “Rapsodie.”
