
Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (CAL) will conclude the NEA Big Read in Cleveland with a culminating celebration of Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel on November 16, 2017 at 10am. The culminating event will feature a panel discussion on emergency preparedness in Cuyahoga County, artwork and creative writing from Big Read participants, and a “Museum of Civilization” inspired by the book. Additionally, Ohio Shakespeare Festival will present a short scene from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Cleveland Neighborhood Progress will be on hand with sample emergency kits and share tips for building your own.
