The annual Cleveland Armenian Festival will take place September 15th-16th this year. This family-friendly event features delicious Armenian food and pastries such as shish kabob with rice pilaf, numerous vegetarian/vegan dishes, and Armenian desserts. There will be cultural displays, church tours, and activities for kids. The festival will include live music and dance performances throughout the weekend, featuring traditional Armenian folk music and classics. Our festival is a community-based event and fundraiser for the St. Gregory of Narek Armenian Church. All dining and entertainment will be held outside. Entrance and parking are free. Highlights this year: -Our newly-formed Cleveland Armenian dance group will perform multiple times on Friday evening and Saturday throughout the day. -The return of our much-loved boutique, where you can buy made-in-Armenia products from Armenian companies. -Modern & traditional Armenian music throughout both days by local Armenian musicians. -The return of grilled chicken or lamb pita sandwiches sold outside. -New menu item: Jingalov hats, a traditional, herb-filled flatbread native to the independent republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). -Face painting for kids on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 16th.
