Kick off with a night hike followed by meeting the Cafe/Wine Cellar owners and programming sparking connections and conversations. All Forward CONNECTIONS: Night Hike. Gathering @ Peninsula Coffee House & Wine Cellar We will kick off at purplebrown store in the heart of Peninsula and as the sun goes down, we will grab headlamps to experience a walk/hike* on the towpath in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with programming focused on building connections and expanding your professional/community/social circles. This night experience offers a completely different perspective with heightened awareness and discovering the beauty of the towpath by moonlight. We will conclude at the Peninsula Coffee House & Wine Cellar where owner(s), Mark/Deb Wallace Anzelc** will share the journey of opening up this local business while we enjoy a complimentary beverage (coffee, wine, other beverage options) and local charcuterie boards. All participants receive a complimentary year member to the the Conservancy for the CVNP ($50 value). Minimum age 18. **Mark Anzelc and Deb Wallace Anzelc founded Peninsula Coffee House in November 2023 after Mark spent decades as a senior executive in supply chain and operations with an engineering background and as Deb continues to lead a CPA business. Deb was born and raised in Northampton and has always been an avid coffee lover. Mark was raised in Maine and has lived in North East Ohio most of his life. Marka and Deb started Peninsula Coffee House with one purpose in mind, “give back” to the community by creating jobs and serving unmet needs.
