
The last Sunday every month, Ramon Rivas II (Comedy Central, HBO Latino, Netflix, Sirius/XM) hosts a series called FUNNY FEAST at Dunlap's Corner Bar. The series combines several of Ramon's passions: comedy, cooking and DIY productions. Rivas prepares a large group meal, hosts the show with new material then presents a pair of his favorite regional artists stepping into longer performance times. While the other artists are performing, Rivas steps behind the scenes and directs the shooting and recording of the audio and video of the evening. The aim is by the end of the year, Rivas will have 80+ minutes of new material to create new comedy albums with while creating the space and opportunity for other artists in the area to get the same raw productions materials together to do the same for themselves. In addition to being a beast at stand up comedy, Curtis is a professional writer whose worked on AMERICAN DAD, CRANK YANKERS, THIS FOOL and more. He's also a very large, sad man. Lover of ska. DOORS for the show open at 6p, with the show taping occurring from 6:30p-8p. The show is followed immediately by the weekly Sunday variety show CON Tù and THE MIC THAT DOESN'T END. So, a nice early, responsible entertainment option that'll feed you and get you home in time for bed.
