The 5 th annual Westlake-Bay Village Rotary Art Festival will take place on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds between Westlake Porter Public Library and the Westlake Elementary School. Attendees will be able to shop at over 70 artist booths while enjoying live music and food trucks. The event is free to the public, and parking will be at the school. This year’s featured artist is JoAnn DePolo. A celebrated artist, educator, and author, JoAnn’s work and creative journey are deeply rooted in Northeast Ohio, where her bold abstract paintings and innovative artistic vision have earned her international acclaim. JoAnn’s artistic career began with photography, but her transition to painting unlocked a world of vibrant expression. Her captivating cityscapes, serene waterscapes, and dynamic abstracts have been showcased across the globe and are part of prestigious collections, including those of celebrities such as Peter Max, Aretha Franklin, and Kenny Loggins. Her work reflects the dynamic currents of contemporary culture while drawing inspiration from her sons’ orchestral compositions, which she translates into stunning visual masterpieces. Westlake-Bay Village Rotary will use funds raised at the festival to support the community with donations to organizations like Connecting for Kids, Footpath Foundation, Best Buddies, Youth Challenge, the Village Project and much more.
