A good library helps make up the backbone of a community, and we’re lucky to have one of the best.
Break out the balloons, the bands, and the birthday cake — it’s time to celebrate
Cleveland Public Library's 150th anniversary with a party in the streets. With headliners like comedian Roy Wood, Jr., author Eric Litwin, and funk DJ Damon “Dâm-Funk” Riddick, Cleveland Public Library celebrates its 150th year of service with a day-long street festival, shutting down and taking over Superior Avenue between East 3rd & East 6th Streets. Saturday, July 27, 1-9pm.
This festival 150 years in the making offers fun for the whole family including:
- story time, puppet shows, activities and crafts for children
- virtual reality gaming
- panels on popular books, movies and television shows
- live music
- food trucks
Some neighborhood branches will offer shuttle service to and from the CPL 150 Street Festival, which is free and open to one and all.
