This is your opportunity to trade your six-pack for a keg—at least for a week. Hop around town from beer spot to beer spot to take part in events ranging from food pairings to special tappings while exploring the variety of breweries in Cleveland.
If you’re visiting Cleveland during Cleveland Beer Week, you need to celebrate with, well … a beer. Because you’ve hit the jackpot. Cleveland is a beer city, with dozens of craft breweries in Cleveland proper and dozens more throughout Northeast Ohio. So when we put on a Beer Week, we mean business.
What To Do There
- Beer Week isn’t as much a place as it is a multi-day celebration of our local brewery scene that takes place all across the city. Most of Cleveland’s breweries can be counted on to have some kind of shindig during the week, whether it’s special keg tappings, tastings or food-pairing events.
What Else To Do
- Explore. The best part of Cleveland Beer Week is that the events are so spread out across the region, giving visitors an excuse to check out some of the area’s most happening and visitor-friendly spots. Beer Week can take beer lovers to East 4th Street’s Downtown restaurant row (home of Butcher and the Brewer), the Greater Cleveland Aquarium (a frequent event host) and Ohio City (home to a large number of breweries).
Tips for Attending
- Attending events held at visitor attractions like the Greater Cleveland Aquarium or the Nautica Queen is often a great value, since tickets to Beer Week events are often cheaper than regular admission — plus food and beer are normally included.
