In Cleveland, we know football isn’t a game — it’s a way of life. So, when Cleveland found out it’ll be hosting the 86th NFL Draft in 2021, we figured we’d do what we know best: throw a huge party.
Three Words: Biggest. Tailgate. Ever.
On May 23, Public Square will turn from iconic landmark to full-on tailgate party to celebrate the announcement of Cleveland hosting the NFL Draft in 2021.
Be there as Cleveland fans, NFL representatives, civic leaders, public officials and Dawg Pound devotees converge on Downtown Cleveland for burgers, beer, music and photo opps featuring Brownie, Chomps and other surprise guests.
Rock the Clock
According to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Cleveland was selected as the 2021 host city for its passionate fan base and distinctive iconic locations that’ll provide fans unique and exciting experiences.
We here in Cleveland couldn’t be more psyched, as the event could be one of the largest and most economically impactful in the city’s history — not to mention our unwavering obsession with football.
As Destination Cleveland President and CEO said: “Cleveland is honored to be selected as the host city for the 2021 NFL Draft and we are excited to once again show the world that this city can set a standard for hosting some of the world’s largest events. We look forward to showing NFL fans across the nation how Cleveland throws a party.”
So, Cleveland, let’s get ready to rock the clock. See you May 23 for the kickoff tailgate party in Public Square.
