Christmas comes but once a year, and so does New London’s Hometown Holidays. Just a 45 minute drive from Cleveland sits our little village. Our members of the New London Community Club have been working all year to make this year’s event on December 7 better than ever with the help of our sponsor, Fisher Titus Medical Center! The event Starts with a pancake breakfast at 7am and ends at 2pm leaving you and your family with tons of Christmas spirit! Among this year’s exciting events are Santa’s Stop (the ambulance building) into a fun place for kids open all day with games, firetruck rides, face painting, a bouncy house, food and other fun Christmas games and activities. Santa’s Workshop, (the community building/council chambers), will host Santa for the kids and vendors for adults to do some holiday shopping. This years Character meet and greet will be the popular characters of Paw Patrol (Chase, Marshall, Skye and Ryder) along with Anna and Elsa from Frozen. They will be found at the Grange Hall after our famous Christmas Parade from 9:15-11am. Another cool addition is our “Christmas bus” that will carry riders to each of the locations and bring Christmas cheer to all! Other Hometown Holiday activities will include businesses offering sales and specials, Children’s Charity Vendor show and much more. Tickets are now on sale at Gilbert’s Hardware for $8 a child for entrance to Santa’s Workshop and the characters at the Grange. Admission that day will be $5 for each event or you can come and enjoy all the free events we offer to get in the Christmas Spirit!! -NLCC
