NatureVation Outdoor Adventures presents: Enjoy late winter and shake the cabin-fever blues with a brisk winter hike. Indian Point metropark in Lake County is a narrow ridge line with stunning views of steep ravines of the convergence of the Grand River and Paine Creek. Paine Falls is one of the region’s larger waterfalls and is usually frozen this time of year. We’ll hike the ridge line exploring the Native American history, descend by staircase to the river flats and explore this magnificent park. We’ll head to a sheltered picnic area for an elegant, warm picnic with warm beverages by a cozy fire. Snowshoes provided.
