Founded in 1916, the mission of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens is “peace through mutual understanding.” The beauty of that sentiment is reflected in the horticultural celebration of diversity and multiculturalism represented by the more than 31 gardens designed and cultivated by the distinct cultural and nationality groups that make up the fabric of this remarkable city.
It takes a lot of love to preserve these magnificent vistas, which are maintained by a group of volunteers that plan fundraisers and events throughout the year and oversee construction, weeding, planting, etc.
Enjoy a guided tour of this amazing Cleveland treasure Saturday mornings throughout summer. Tours cost $12, will last approximately 90 minutes and include coffee and pastries. Reservations required, call 216-220-3075 or email l.ashyk@clevelandculturalgardens.org to secure your spot today.
