Cleveland Ballet is coming to Gervasi Vineyard for an exclusive performance in the beautiful covered Pavilion, nestled between a sparkling lake and lush vineyard. Cleveland Ballet’s first performance will make you feel “Young At Heart” with this collection of playful vignettes set to iconic songs by Italian American singer, Frank Sinatra, one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Company Artists will personify the flirtatious stories of Sinatra’s songs, such as “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Saturday Night,” and “The Way You Look Tonight,” through the art of ballet. Cleveland Ballet Artistic Director and renowned choreographer, Gladisa Guadalupe, explained, “Sinatra represented America in the most influential way through love and unity. This is my way of thanking those who have given nothing but love and unity during these difficult times.” The second performance of the night will be Provocativo. As a young artist, Cleveland Ballet’s founding Artistic Director, Gladisa Guadalupe, visited cafés in Buenos Aires, where she saw artists gathering to relax, socialize, and unwind from daily demands. In these cafés, performers found themselves exposed to adventures related to passion, desire, and love. These visits, along with the romantic music of Argentinian tangos, were the inspiration for Guadalupe’s original ballet, Provocativo. Enjoy dinner at any of Gervasi’s restaurants before the show, but be sure to leave room for dessert! Included in your ticket is a plated fall dessert feature with a glass of sparkling Lambrusco. Additional wine and beverages will available for purchase. To ensure the safety of our guests while observing social distancing guidelines, tables will be sold in blocks of 8-10 tickets.
