In Cleveland, we’ve got world-class experiences without the world-class ego. And for that, you’re welcome.
Here in Cleveland, we’ve got beef cheek in our pierogi, truffles on our hot dogs and beer in our donuts. Balance.
Whether you’re into the thread count of your linens or just a place to crash for the night, we’ve got a hotel room with your name all over it.
You know those places only the locals know? Let our experts help you find them with free maps, itineraries and insider tips.
History hasn't always been easy on us. But pressure can create diamonds. Come check out our gems.
No longer purely the domain of “ironic” hipsters, Cleveland items and apparel are making a major comeback — much like the city itself. From beer koozies to cornhole boards to Lebron-themed artwork, there are plenty of ways to pimp your C-town pride.
Start your shopping spree at CLE Clothing Co., where you’ll find locally made swag bearing slogans like “Burning River Surf Club” and “C-Town Don’t Back Down.” What else would you expect from two enterprising Cleveland natives whose motto is “Spreading Cleveland Pride, One T-Shirt at a Time?” Shop online or at one of four brick-and-mortar locations, all named by Scene Magazine as the “Best Place to Buy a Piece of Cleveland.” Pro tip: Send them a pic of you sporting their stuff, and you can snag 20 percent off your next order.
Over at GV Art + Design, local artists Greg and George Vlosich are also spreading the Cleveland love. Snag one of George’s custom Etch-a-Sketch drawings of the downtown skyline (Oprah-approved!) or get a limited-edition giclee print of LeBron James. The brothers have also designed a “CleveLAND That I Love”-themed clothing line for extra hometown cred, plus new launches for Opening Day and the RNC — see it all at their retail studios in Lakewood and Willoughby.
On the roving tip, Fresh Brewed Tees sells its 216-themed wares out of a retail truck, as well as locations in the West Side Market and Hopkins airport. Think everything from cornhole boards to hoodies to baby onesies.
Even the guy who coined the phrase “Factory of Sadness” is getting in on the action. For a tongue-in-cheek guide to CLE, pick up a copy of comedian Mike Polk’s book, Damn Right I’m From Cleveland (Grey Publishing). From a primer on riding the Rita to the best places to poop downtown, you’ll find all the urban skinny in these hilarious pages.
You always knew you were on Team Cleveland — now you just have a bunch of ways to show it.
