Downtown Cleveland has a goal of reaching 30,000 residents by 2030—and with over 1,900 apartments added in the last few years, the city has no shortage of shiny new spots to attract them. Cases in point: the 29-story The Beacon (featuring unobstructed city views) and the 34-story The Lumen (Playhouse Square’s shining star). New projects also abound along Euclid Avenue with soon-to-come residences in historic bank buildings (The Centennial) and the 23-story City Club Apartments (new construction replete with rooftop pool).

Outside of Downtown, new investment continues to pour into Cleveland’s neighborhoods, such as Ohio City—where mixed-use development INTRO will claim the title of the country’s tallest timber-frame building when completed across from the historic West Side Market.
But that’s far from the only lofty project in progress! Also, in Ohio City, Bridgeworks will bring a mix of residential and retail to the corner of Detroit and West 25th, while Circle Square Development is hard at work bringing more housing, workspace and even a new public library location to University Circle. Neighborhoods like Fairfax, Hough and Slavic Village are following suit with ambitious projects-in-progress including Innovation Square, Chester75 and 5115 The Rising, respectively.
