Emily Maslanka is a recent graduate of Kent State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration with a minor in Marketing. She is currently a Social Media Intern at Destination Cleveland, where she helps spotlight the people, places and experiences that make the city special.
Emily’s love for Cleveland began on family trips growing up and has only grown stronger. She especially looks forward to fall. The fluffy sweaters, warm cider, Halloween, the changing leaves and, of course, the start of football season, all make it her favorite time of year. In her free time, Emily enjoys being outdoors, spending time with animals and baking sweet treats. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to discover what makes Cleveland such a great place to be.
