Work in Travel

Exciting. Spontaneous. Fun. Fulfilling.

Those are just some of the words people use to describe working in Cleveland’s travel and tourism industry, which employs more than 69,000 Clevelanders. This dedicated workforce does everything from welcoming visitors at the front desks of area hotels to serving out-of-towners at restaurants, bars and eateries. And there are countless “behind the scenes” roles that are essential to creating a world-class visitor experience.

The travel, tourism and hospitality industry is growing in Cleveland. In fact, since 2011, the number of people visiting Cleveland has increased by 20%. And, that number is expected to grow.

The bottom line: more visitors mean more jobs. There’s never been a better time to begin your hospitality career in The Land.
