Global Center for Health Innovation
The Global Center for Health Innovation is the first facility of its kind in the world highlighting the latest in medical product development, education, branding and technology for starts.
Opening to the general public in late spring 2014, the Global Center will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 5pm. Think of the facility as a medical playground for healthcare discovery with interactive exhibits and virtual offerings.
Meant to capitalize on the area’s strong healthcare reputation, the building is part of a massive $465 million redevelopment of Cleveland’s downtown convention center campus.
Individual companies and collaborative groups including Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Hyland Software, Philips Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Cleveland Clinic and even an Au Bon Pain restaurant will use the building’s four themed floors to display their goods and services for visitors.
The center includes an 11,000-square-foot, column-free junior ballroom, visitor’s center, state of the art home of the future, and is connected to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.
