Mesopotamia Ox Roast & Flea Market
The Mesopotamia Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting the 44rd annual Ox Roast to be held June 30- July 1st & 2nd 2017 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). The Ox Roast is the fire department’s main fundraiser and relies on the proceeds generated to purchase essential equipment and gear for the department. The event is located at the intersections of State Route 87 and State Route 534, one hour East of Cleveland. Be sure to come to historic Mesopotamia, one of the “hidden jewels” northeast Ohio. Featuring over 160 dealers and live entertainment daily. Come join thousands of people for the “famous slow roasted barbecue sandwich.” Our sandwiches are roasted on a spit over an open fire for eight hours and sliced for a fantastic flavor that makes it worth the trip to Amish country. Admission is FREE and live entertainment is offered daily.
