Event - Hauntaquarium

This year Hauntaquarium, Greater Cleveland Aquarium’s warm, safe and dry Halloween celebration, is one big pirate party! Tickets for the family-friendly program on the West Bank of the Flats include Aquarium admission and chances to collect pirate booty along a protected trick-or-treat trail, walk a gangplank, go nose-to-nose with a reptile during a Jungle Terry animal encounter, make a Jolly Roger-themed craft, conduct a 5-minute science experiment (like making green slime), solve a maze, or play a game. The fun also includes appearances by costumed Scuba divers, a magician, face painters, balloon twisters, DJ dance party and land shark and Aquarium mascot Finn. Other activities range from pumpkin animal enrichment to the opportunity to ask questions about moray eels, sharks, pufferfish, stingrays and other amazing aquatic animals to divers immersed in a 230,000-gallon tank. Young buccaneers and old sea dogs are invited to sport their own family-friendly Halloween attire. This event sells out. Advance tickets are strongly recommended.
