"It's gonna be May!" Yes! We can safely shout from the rooftops that spring has finally sprung in the CLE. Old Man Winter put up a good fight, but sunshine and warmer temps prevailed. What next? Get outside. Let's do this.
Friday, May 4
Very few places can rival Progressive Field on a Friday evening. Join several thousand of your newest friends at The Corner in right field and sample the best ballpark food around from various award-winning local restaurants.
Tickets still remain for the Broadway musical version of "Aladdin," the classic Disney movie that left all of us wanting a genie ... or a tiger ... or both, if we're really being honest with ourselves.
Saturday, May 5
It's Derby Day! Gallop over to Nano Brew in Ohio City to sip a fantastic craft beer (or a mint julep), dress to the nines and help support a wonderful cause as we all collectively pretend to know anything whatsoever about horse racing.
It's Cinco de Mayo. So, naturally, it's your duty to help decide the best tacos in Cleveland at multiple parties around Downtown. This free-flowing event at numerous citywide restaurants is a bar-crawl-meets-food-crawl kind of fiesta.
Sunday, May 6
Build your own bloody mary while the 52nd St. Stranger plays the Piano Man's greatest hits as you scope some serious riverfront views.
Shop wares created and curated by local artists and collectors inside the rich cultural environment of the Cleveland History Center. While there, take a spin on the historic Euclid Beach Carousel. Because, why not?
