CLEVELAND (Feb. 5, 2018) - Cleveland is The Land of love this Valentine's Day, and locals can share their passion for CLE with experiences that even Cupid would approve of. From romantic date ideas to the perfect spot for a night out with friends, Destination Cleveland recommends that residents explore the places they adore in Northeast Ohio.

I Love You A Latte

Residents can start off Valentine's Day over a fresh cup of coffee with their special someone. To encourage exploration of the local options in Cleveland, six independent coffee shops offer a "Disloyalty Card," where residents can visit each location and receive a punch on their card. Coffee shops participating in the Disloyalty Card include Rising Star Coffee Roasters, Passengers Café, Phoenix Coffee, Duck-Rabbit Coffee, Pour Cleveland and Rooted in Cleveland. All shops are Cleveland-founded companies that brew an assortment of coffees to satisfy the needs of caffeine lovers across Northeast Ohio.

The lovely, historic Glidden House in University Circle is a great place to celebrate "Pal"entine's Day. Residents can visit its Palette Lounge on the 14th to enjoy wine, champagne, small plates and cocktails.

For an evening full of wining and dining, Clevelanders can go to the Gervasi Vineyard's Crush House. Located an hour outside of Downtown Cleveland, Gervasi also offers Clevelanders the opportunity to spend a romantic night at the Tuscan-themed vineyard.

Colossal Cupcakes

Residents can satisfy their sweetheart's sweet tooth with a stop at Colossal Cupcakes. Back by popular demand, "Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour" will take the stage at Playhouse Square's KeyBank State Theatre. The internationally recognized performers will bring the tradition of Irish music and dance to the stage appealing to audiences of all ages. Residents can continue the evening's Irish theme with a drink at Parnell's Irish Pub before or after the show.

The Cleveland Orchestra

If music is the way to your love's heart, then a stop at Severance Hall is a must. The Cleveland Orchestra will be performing throughout the month of February as a part of its centennial season. Classical music fans can enjoy "Mitsuko Uchida's Mozart" the weekend before Valentine's Day and "Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto" the weekend after. Both concerts are romantic ways to celebrate the day of love.
