The LGBT Cleveland Community Center and Cleveland Pride, Inc. have joined forces to throw a multi-day celebration of the city's vibrant LGBTQ+ community. Dubbed Pride in the CLE, the inclusive event combines entertainment, education and activism - with the goal of exuding unity and acceptance, raising awareness and generally just creating good vibes all around.
Although a series of fun, inclusive events are scheduled for May 31-June 3, the Pride in the CLE march and festival is set for June 2 at Cleveland's Public Square. It's a not-to-be-missed event that celebrates Cleveland's diversity.
Pride in the CLE's signature event aims to show off our community's strength and unity as well as celebrate the LGBT+ community's progress and future.
Visitors from every walk of life are encouraged to join the march and festival in a show of solidarity with the LGBT+ community.
Following the kick-off march, the event turns into a bustling all-day festival featuring a diverse array of vendors - areas of interest include healthcare, activism, social groups and nonprofits - as well as a robust slate of music, entertainment and DJs.
In addition to the daytime festivities, expect a variety of nighttime events located in various city neighborhoods and indoor venues.
