Great Lakes Science Center: New Year’s Eve Eve Celebration
Family and friends can ring in the New Year earlier than usual at Great Lake’s Science Center special countdown on the eve of New Year’s Eve (Dec. 30). Join in the celebration that Friday as guests count down the final seconds before 2:17 p.m., when 2,017 balloons will drop from the top level of the Wintergarden atrium.

Cleveland Museum of Natural History: New Year's at Noon
If prehistoric findings are more your style, head to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on New Year's Eve to watch a dinosaur egg drop and find out what's inside. Spend the rest of your time exploring their Global Kitchen, hanging out with live animals and making noisemakers, party hats and take-home crafts. For an additional fee, watch a New Year's-themed planetarium show.

Windows on the River: New Year’s Eve Party
Windows on the River returns again with its NYE party, featuring an open bar, hors d’ouvres, free parking and a champagne toast at midnight.
