Fabulous Food Show

The Fabulous Food Show blows out the candles on its 10th birthday cake with the biggest event yet.

Those three magic words: food, glorious food. And from November 13-15, the place to get it is at the I-X Center, where Cleveland's annual Fabulous Food Show will be cooking up culinary goodness once again for its 10th anniversary year. Just ask personalities like Michael Symon, "Cake Boss" Buddy Velastro, and "Top Chef" judge Gail Simmons, all of whom will be headlining this year's festivities.

"There are so many diehard foodies in Cleveland who love both food and rockstar chefs," says Jason Roberts, long-time MC of the show and Symon's co-host on "The Chew." "What keeps them coming back to the Fabulous Food Show year after year is the quality of chefs-chefs who not only have a lot of knowledge, but are great showmen, too."

There'll be no shortage of options to keep that flock of foodies engaged, as the I-X Center comprises 400,000 square feet of indoor space. (Translation: the country's largest presentation of food, fine art, and, naturally, fabulosity.) Stop by the Neighborhood Stage to see dynamic chef demos from local talent, sample your way through the aisles, or try some food truck fare at the new Street Scene & Stage. And don't miss the "Art of Food" exhibit, where you can marvel while Natalie Sideserf makes one of her quirky cake sculptures live.

Thirsty? Good. Sampling passports are available to try hundreds of fine wines and craft beers; attendees can also stop by the Brew U and Wine Store to buy bottles (but not before mingling with and tasting food pairings from brewmasters, winemakers, and sommeliers). The cocktail scene will also have plenty of spirited representation, with flair bartending demos throughout the weekend by Tin Play and other top mixologists.

Of course, good eats and bevvies aren't the only thing on tap. Entertainment is also on the proverbial menu-with performances by Frankie Avalon and The Samples, as well as the chance to get a taste of the House of Blues Cleveland's famed Gospel Brunch. As Roberts says, "This event is a great melting pot of food, wine, and fun."
