So, you want that “city-sidewalks-busy-sidewalks-dressed-in-holiday-style” weekend experience? Well, friend, it looks like your Christmas wish has been granted – but not by Santa. This year, Cleveland is that holly, jolly gift giver. But, thankfully, we won’t try to squeeze down your chimney into your living room.

Day 1: Friday

12pm: When a little CLE history meets modern food trends, you’re met with one outstanding restaurant. The Willeyville Handcrafted Consumables, located in the up-and-coming Flats, serves Cleveland-focused food with a gorgeous twist in an emerging district. 1051 West 10th Street, 44113, 216.862.6422, www.thewilleyville.com

2pm: Did you know Santa Claus is a certified SCUBA diver? Meet SCUBA Claus as he swims throughout the tanks at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium with more than 5,000 underwater sea creatures. 2000 Sycamore Street, 44113, 216.862.8803, www.greaterclevelandaquarium.com

6pm: You walked into Cibréo off of the festive Euclid Avenue and now you’re in an Italian wine cellar – but wafting with the sweet smells of fresh bread and rustic Italian cuisine. 1438 Euclid Avenue, 44115, 216.862.9212, cibreocleveland.com

8pm: If you’re dreaming of a White Christmas, you’re in luck. PlayhouseSquare presents Irving Berlin’s White Christmas on stage at the Connor Palace Theatre as part of the Broadway in CLE series. 1615 Euclid Avenue, 44115, 866.546.1353, broadway.playhousesquare.org

Day 2: Saturday

8:30am: Conquering Cleveland will require fuel, so power up with some home-style comfort food at neighborhood spoon Grumpy’s Cafe in Tremont. 2621 West 14th Street, Tremont, 44113, 216.241.5025, grumpys-cafe.com

10am: Step into the house where several shots of a famous Christmas movie were filmed. Scrunch yourself up and hide under Mrs. Parker’s Icetrain sink or explore the backyard where Ralphie defeated the bad guys at A Christmas Story House. 3159 West 11th Street, Tremont, 44109, 216.298.4919, www.achristmasstoryhouse.com

12pm: In 1988, two brothers opened Ohio’s first craft brewery called Great Lakes Brewing Co. Today, the Ohio City brewing brews over 125,000 barrels annually. Enjoy lunch and a cold one in the brewpub. 2516 Market Avenue, Ohio City, 44113, 216.771.4404 x218, www.greatlakesbrewing.com

2pm: It’s a Saturday in December, which means its time for you to board a December in Downtown Trolley Tour. Take a stop at the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland to gander at the nostalgic decorations during Holidays at the Higbee. Or, hop off at PlayhouseSquare and get your photo in front of dozens of gorgeously lit Christmas trees at the Festival of the Trees inside the Allen Theatre. 50 Public Square, 44113, 216.736.7799, www.downtowncleveland.com

7:30pm: It wouldn’t be the holidays in Cleveland without a theatrical performance of A Christmas Story at PlayhouseSquare. Performed by the Cleveland Play House, the performance features Ralphie, Randy and the Parker family in Jean Shepherd’s famous short story. 1407 Euclid Avenue, 44115, 216.241.6000, www.clevelandplayhouse.com

Day 3: Sunday
