PCMA announced at this year's Convening Leaders conference in Nashville that they will host their 2018 PCMA Education Conference June 10-13 in Cleveland. Registration will be available in February.
The 2018 PCMA Education Conference will deliver innovative concepts to assist in the evolution of experience design, education delivery and engagement strategies.
Business-event professionals will have the opportunity to meet, learn, and experience everything Cleveland has to offer. And that’s a lot.
Cleveland has risen in prominence as a hub of health-tech, high-tech and advanced manufacturing industries such as biotechnology, information technology, medical device design and manufacturing, and technological start-ups. On top of that, the region currently boasts more than $17 billion in capital developments — more than $3.5 billion of which is visitor-related infrastructure development since 2011.
That includes meetings. From the 750,000 square feet of the cutting-edge Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland and Global Center for Health Innovation, to nearly 5,000 hotel rooms available Downtown — Cleveland has you covered. Add in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the free Cleveland Museum of Art, James Beard Award–recognized chefs and restaurants, and other cultural amenities, and attendees are sure to have a great time.
“When selecting a strategic partner, Destination Cleveland focuses on maximizing alignment with the organization’s membership/type of business represented, the ability to grow the partnership, and a willingness to present new ideas and try new things to attract meetings and conventions to Cleveland,” said Mike Burns, senior vice president of convention sales and services for Destination Cleveland. “PCMA is the ideal fit for us in all of these areas. We are especially looking forward to the opportunity to host PCMA's Education Conference in 2018.”
