As the investment in our city continues, Cleveland is focusing on one of its major draws: its museums. Whether an homage to music legends or a nod to scientific discovery, our museums are pulling out all the stops for updated, dazzling displays and exhibits.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's entry plaza facelift includes new lighting, loudspeakers, a concert stage and a beer garden—just in time for the induction ceremony to return to Downtown Cleveland every two years starting in 2018.
Great Lakes Science Center
Seeing a movie at the Great Lakes Science Center is now even more epic. The museum's renovated, six-story Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater boasts a powerful, immersive digital sound system and the world’s first giant dome cinema laser system.
Pro Football Hall of Fame
Touchdown! The Pro Football Hall of Fame's $500 million Hall of Fame Village renovation project includes stadium improvements and an upscale, football-themed 243-room hotel with a conference center that's slated to debut in May 2018.
Cleveland Museum of Natural History
The $150 million renovation and expansion of the University Circle history mecca is set to be completed by 2020. Expect a completely transformed museum space—from the Kirtland Hall of Prehistoric Life to the Sears Hall of Human Ecology.
